Meet The Sales Team
While our GLLS Sales Team may be small, but they sure are mighty. Our three Account Managers, Alex, Christine, and Nadine handle our customers, reps, and distributor accounts. Along with completing your orders they can provide step-by-step guidance from the quote, design, and installation process.
To better introduce themselves each team member completed a brief interview about their work and homelife. If you’ve ever wondered who’s behind your quotes or what it’s like being apart of the GLLS team look below for what our people have to say.
Meet Alex
Alex is an Account Manager based in Las Vegas, Nevada with our Warehouse and has been with GLLS since October 2016.
– Before working at GLLS, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
While working for GLLS has been my most interesting job I do think it is unique and unusual I ran our Sample Warehouse my first 4 years at GLLS. Now I get to experience a whole other side of business on our Sales Team.
– What has been your favorite project at GLLS?
Either the Sahara Las Vegas because it was exciting to do a project in my hometown or the Holocaust Remembrance project. My dad’s family is Jewish so that was a personal project as well.
– What is the favorite part about working for GLLS?
My favorite part would have to be the interactions with all the different great creative minds and seeing the crazy lighting projects people create.
– Do you have a favorite quote?
“A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.” –John Lennon
“People change and things go wrong, but just remember, life goes on.” – Mac Miller
– What do you like to do on your days off?
I love spending time outdoors, whether it be hiking with my dog, or skate/snowboarding (depending on the season). I also love to relax with a good movie or read some comic books in my downtime.
Meet Christine
Christine is our Senior Account Manager located in our main office in Moncton, New Brunswick. She has been apart of the GLLS team since 2016.
– Before working at GLLS, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Hmmm, GLLS wins for the most interesting job yet. I will eventually retire and become a painter…that should be interesting!!
– What has been your favorite project at GLLS?
I have many favorites; I would say the most memorable was the first one I did in a café in NYC. I was able to help my client vision come to fruition and was so happy once I saw the result. I just fell in love with what I do.
– What is the favorite part about working for GLLS?
Every day is an adventure!
– What are your hopes for our industry?
Bringing fun, joy, and beauty into people’s lives. Might sound corny but I think experiences brings value to a person’s life. Lighting can enhance an environment and can create experiences in a positive way.
– Do you have a favorite quote?
Be proud of who you are!!
– What do you like to do on your days off?
I like spend time in nature and paint.

– Before working at GLLS, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I was a lighting tech at Alabama Theater, when I as a senior in high school, where I got to work with a lot of country artists like Loretta Lynn, Billy Ray Cyrus (even got to meet Miley when she was a baby), Marc Chestnut, Alabama, etc. (I don’t even like country music!)
– What has been your favorite project at GLLS?
Turtle Bay in Hawaii. Not only because I was so close to flying out and helping install but because I had great conversations bouncing ideas back and forth with the contractor.
– What is the favorite part about working for GLLS?
That even though I am on my “island of one” I still feel connected with the rest of the team.

Everything happens for a reason just sometimes not explained. And everything that was meant to be will be in due time.
– What do you like to do on your days off?
Competitive ballroom dancing, gardening, camping, hiking, skiing, etc. and you can still find me behind a lighting board from time to time.
